Goal

The purpose of the foundation is (Article 2, paragraph 1 of the Charter):

'to promote the practice of and interest in the arts, especially painting, sculpture and graphics.'

The foundation tries to achieve this goal in particular by (article 2, paragraph 2 of the Charter):

'the periodic awarding of prizes to those who are artist members of the association established in The Hague: Association of Visual Artists "SchilderkundigGenootschap Pulchri Studio" and who are active in the field of one or more of the branches of art referred to in 2.1 have delivered a special achievement or have generally shown special talent.'
